People, Culture & Administrative Operations

Someone has to turn “we should have a policy for that” into an actual policy — and make sure it’s communicated, documented, and lived, not just written.

What You’ll Do

  • Own hiring coordination and policy development processes across the organization.
  • Handle administrative documentation, internal reporting, and social media coordination where needed.
  • Build a working understanding of the software and advertising industries well enough to make informed people decisions.
  • Keep the operational backbone of the company — the unglamorous but essential stuff — running cleanly.

What You Bring

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Strong administrative and documentation discipline.
  • Curiosity about the software product and advertising industries, not just HR process for its own sake.
  • Comfort operating in a small team where you’ll own more scope than the job title suggests.

Bonus Points: Prior experience in a startup or fast-scaling company’s people/ops function.

For all positions: we’re looking for people who learn quickly, adapt to new and emerging technologies, and want to help build the future of advertising technology. This is an office-based role in South Delhi — we value genuine enthusiasm for working from office, tinkering with LLMs, AI, programmatic, ad insertion, and even gaming, inside a startup-style, operationally flexible environment. Hard work and a real focus on building a long-term career in ad-tech software development matter more to us than a polished résumé.

Disclaimer: due to the large volume of applications received, we are only able to respond to successful candidates.

On the Early-Career Program

Programmatic ad-tech is an exceptionally niche industry, and very few schools or workplaces truly expose people to its technical, operational, or business realities — especially combined with emerging interactive and immersive advertising experiences. Because of this, we understand that strong candidates may come from lateral career shifts or seemingly unrelated backgrounds. While we review every application for relevant experience and education, résumés alone rarely reveal curiosity, systems thinking, adaptability, or genuine interest in the industry.

Established players in this space rarely let experienced talent circulate freely, and we recognize the challenge of building in such a rare ecosystem while bootstrapping. We encourage applicants to research the industry before applying, avoid applying blindly, and tell us why this space excites you — especially if you’re willing to pursue an early-career journey of learning, exploration, and growth while transitioning from another field.

Application Requirements

  • A completed application form, including your resume.
  • Essay 1 — Statement of Purpose: why Blowtrumpet is for you, why you want to be part of ad-tech, and how ad-tech differs from other industries (e.g. ed-tech) in ways that interest you.
  • Essay 2 — Your Workflow in the Emerging Technologies Age: your view on AI and where it’s heading, how you’re incorporating AI into your workflow today, and real examples of difficulties you’ve faced and how you resolved them.
  • Essay 3 — Gamification: what gamification means to you, a real-life example, what the gamification loop looks like, and how you’d apply it to create an engaging experience for friends, family, or coworkers.

You may use AI tools to help write these essays. If you do, disclose which tools you used, your prompts and guidance, and confirm your agreement with the output. If you choose not to use AI, tell us that too.
